DESIGN GOAL
The primary goal of this project was to provide a space for recovery for women who may be displaced due to family issues or economical strains.Threshold refers to the place of space between two destinations. This project aims at creating an in-between space for displaced women. The initial design concept drawings focus on the circulation of the building and framing of the view as one passes through space. The notion of color therapy was also pivotal to this design process.
